About getcoinsight
Updated: September 28, 2026
getcoinsight is a market-analysis tool for crypto, stocks, ETFs, commodities and currencies. It runs one technical-analysis stack across every asset — indicators, candlestick and chart patterns, market structure and a composite score — and adds a screener that ranks the market with it, alerts, coin fundamentals and a macro-event calendar.
Where the data comes from
Prices and candles are pulled automatically from exchanges and public data providers; nothing is entered by hand.
- Crypto candles: Binance spot first, then Binance USDT-M futures, Bybit and OKX; GeckoTerminal for DEX-only tokens; CoinGecko as the last fallback.
- Market capitalisation, rankings, supply and coin metadata: CoinGecko.
- Derivatives: funding rates, open interest and long/short ratios from Binance USDT-M futures; liquidations from OKX; BTC and ETH options metrics from Deribit.
- On-chain and fundamental data: Coin Metrics (community API), DefiLlama (TVL, fees, revenue) and GoPlus (token contract security).
- Stocks and ETFs: Nasdaq public market data (daily bars and quotes), with Financial Modeling Prep as a fallback.
- Commodities and currencies: MEXC perpetual contracts, Kraken spot markets and the National Bank of Ukraine (UAH rates).
- Macro calendar: official Federal Reserve and U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics release schedules, plus the ForexFactory weekly calendar feed.
How to read the scores
The composite score summarises an asset's current technical state on one timeframe — trend, momentum, market structure, patterns and volume — on a scale from −100 to +100. It describes the state of the market; it is not a price forecast.
Our own walk-forward tests did not find that ranking assets by the composite score predicts future returns. Where a signal has a measured historical record we show it with its sample size; where it does not, we say so.
Every reading is timeframe-specific: a coin can be bullish on the daily chart and bearish on the hourly at the same time. The timeframe is shown next to each verdict.
Nothing on this site is investment advice. Setup levels (entry, stop, target) are mechanical calculations from price volatility, not recommendations to trade.
How fresh the data is
- Charts: streamed in real time on Pro and Premium; on Free and Basic, chart data is delayed by about 15 minutes.
- Market table and header prices: refreshed about every 45 seconds while the page is open; market caps and rankings are updated about hourly.
- Screener: computed on demand each time you run a scan, from the latest candles for the chosen timeframe.
- Alerts: indicator, composite, 24h-change and volume alerts are checked about every 2 minutes; price alerts for coins traded on Binance spot fire within seconds from a live price stream (other assets use the 2-minute check).
- Stocks and ETFs: analysis uses daily (end-of-day) bars; quotes are refreshed periodically during the U.S. session — this is not a real-time equity feed.
- Public summary pages are cached: screener preset pages refresh about hourly and the funding board every few minutes; each page shows its own update time.
